PowerPuff Volleyball: Tuesday, September 10

The boys of each grade-level compete in this fun volleyball competition to see which class comes out on top! Catch the action on Tuesday, September 10 in the High School Gymnasium immediately following the home Varsity Volleyball game.

Homecoming Parade: Wednesday, September 11

The Homecoming Parade begins at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, September 11. The parade follows the loop around the Middle/High School complex, starting at the Middle School parking lot and ending in the High School student parking lot. This will be a traditional, moving parade and the entire Chippewa Hills community is welcome and encouraged to attend!

PowderPuff Football: Wednesday, September 11

The girls of each grade take on the other classes in this exciting football tournament! The PowderPuff games begin at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 11 at Warrior Field, right after the Homecoming Parade.

Homecoming Assembly: Friday, September 13

A Chippewa Hills tradition! The annual Homecoming Assembly will be on Friday, September 13 at 1:35 PM in the High School Gymnasium. Join in on the fun for all the crazy games and compete against the other grades to see which class is the Winner of Homecoming Week!

Homecoming Game: Friday, September 13

Catch the home Varsity Football game on Friday, September 13 as Chippewa Hills hosts Central Montcalm! Kickoff is at 7:00 PM at Warrior Stadium. The Homecoming Court recognition ceremony will be during halftime at the game.

Homecoming Dance: Saturday, September 14

The Homecoming Dance will be from 7:00-10:00 PM in the High School Gymnasium. Please use the athletics entrance.

Ticket Price

Tickets are $15 per person when purchased in advance. $20 at the door.

Tickets may be purchased during lunch any day during Homecoming Week. Payable by cash or check made out to Chippewa Hills High School.

Twin with your friends, teachers, or a staff member!

Tuesday, September 10: Tourist Tuesday

Dress like a tourist!

Wednesday, September 11: Whirlpool Wednesday

Wear a floatation device, like water wings or pool noodles. You may not wear anything that is larger than you. No boats, kayaks, or large tubes.

Thursday, September 12: Surfer vs Biker Day

Dress like a surfer or like you own a motorcycle.

Friday, September 13: Tropical Colors Day

Freshmen wear orange. Sophomores wear purple. Juniors wear pink. Seniors wear teal and/or Hawaiian shirts.

Freshman Representatives

Freshman Representative Saige Brigham

Saige Brigham

Saige Brigham is a freshman from Mecosta. She is a member of the Varsity Girls Volleyball team and plays with the West Michigan club volleyball team, Inside Out North.

If Saige could go on a tropical vacation, she would go to the Caribbean Islands because she loves swimming and the warm weather. Her favorite tropical fruit is starfruit and her favorite thing to order at Tropical Smoothie Café would be a chicken bacon ranch flatbread with a Sunset Sunrise smoothie.

After high school, Saige plans to attend college to study architecture or become a nurse practitioner.

Freshman Representative Emmett Newcombe

Emmett Newcombe

Freshman Representative Emmett Newcombe is a Warrior Football player from Mecosta.

If Emmett could go on a tropical vacation anywhere, he would go to Hawaii because his mom lived there and she loved it! Emmett’s go-to order at Tropical Smoothie Café is a Sunset Sunrise smoothie with a chicken bacon flatbread, and pineapples are his favorite tropical fruit.

Emmett would like to attend college or a trade school after completing high school.

Sophomore Representatives

Sophomore Representative Alexa Welder

Alexa Welder

Sophomore Representative Alexa Welder is from Barryton. She is a 3-sport Warrior athlete playing volleyball, basketball, and track.

If Alexa could go on a tropical vacation anywhere, she would choose Barbados because of all the open area and beautiful view. She loves the Island Green smoothie with kiwis and strawberries from Tropical Smoothie Café and mangos are her favorite tropical fruit.

After graduating high school, Alexa plans to attend college and get a good-paying job.

Sophomore Representative Clay Farrell

Clay Farrell

Clay Farrell is a sophomore from Barryton. He’s a member of the Varsity Football team and the Track & Field team.

Clay would choose to on a tropical vacation to to Hawaii! At Tropical Smoothie Café he would order an Island Green smoothie. Mangos are his favorite tropical fruit.

After high school graduation, Clay would like to play football at college while getting a business degree.

Junior Representatives

Junior Representative Jaelynn Green

Jaelynn Green

Junior Representative Jaelynn Green is from Mecosta. She enjoys painting and doing as much with her art as she can. She’s also an avid reader and writes poetry. Jaelynn takes courses at the Mecosta-Osceola Career Center where she is studying public safety and working toward an EMT certification.

Jaelynn would go on a tropical vacation to Jamaica because she’s heard it’s ammmazzinngggg and she’d like to sit and talk with people on how different everything is from the U.S. Her typical order at Tropical Smoothie Café is a strawberry banana smoothie, and pineapple is her favorite tropical fruit.

After graduating high school, Jaelynn plans to enlist in the United States Army.

Junior Representative Robert Schlarf

Robert Schlarf

Robert Schlarf is a Junior from Lake Isabella. He is a member of the Warrior Marching Band, and an active member of the Robotics, Dungeons and Dragons, and Men’s Volleyball clubs.  

If Robert could go on a tropical vacation anywhere, he would go to Fiji because it looks and sounds like a nice place. Robert’s favorite tropical fruit is mango and his go-to order at Tropical Smoothie Café is the Mango Magic.

Robert is currently undecided about his plans after high school.

Senior Representatives: Queen Candidates

Senior Representative Maci Correll

Maci Correll

Senior Representative Maci Correll is from Mecosta. She is a Senior Class Officer and member of the National Honor Society. She’s on the Equestrian team, Soccer team, and Cheerleading. She’s also actively involved in FFA and 4-H.

Maci’s dream tropical vacation would be going to the clear waters of the Maldives and getting to see the pigs swimming in the water. Maci’s favorite tropical fruit is pineapple and at Tropical Smoothie Café she would order a Bahama Mama smoothie.

After high school, Maci plans to attend college to pursue a degree in Agriculture Education.

Senior Representative Hunter Howard

Hunter Howard

Hunter Howard is a senior from Remus. Hunter is a 3-sport Warrior athlete, playing volleyball, basketball, and softball. She’s also a member of FFA.

If given the opportunity to go on a tropical vacation anywhere, Hunter would go to Bali because it’s gorgeous and would be a pretty place to see. Her favorite fruit is strawberries and at Tropical Smoothie Café she would order a strawberry smoothie.

As for her plans after high school, Hunter says she would like to become maybe a vet, maybe a nurse, or possibly enter the National Guard. She’s currently undecided and says to ask her again in 8 months.

Senior Representative Kirstin Sherman

Kirstin Sherman

Senior Kirstin Sherman is from Barryton. She’s a life-long soccer player who is a member of the Lady Warriors Soccer team and our local AYSO team. She enjoys riding her bike, baking, and being outside while enjoying time with her daughter, family and friends.

Kirstin would love to go on a tropical vacation to the Bahamas to swim in the crystal-clear water with the little piggies. At Tropical Smoothie Café she would order the Beach Bum smoothie and her favorite tropical fruit is kiwi.

After graduating high school, Kirstin plans to attend college to become an elementary teacher.

Senior Representatives: King Candidates

Senior Representative Austin Humphrey

Austin Humphrey

Senior Representative Austin Humphrey is from Weidman. Austin is a 3-sport Warrior athlete playing football, wrestling, and baseball. Last spring he received All-State first-team honors from the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association.

If he could go on a tropical vacation anywhere, Austin would go to Hawaii. He loves the strawberry banana smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Café and his favorite tropical fruit is pineapple.

Austin wants to play college football after graduating high school.

Senior Representative Brady White

Brady White

Senior Brady White is from Canadian Lakes. Brady is a Warrior Golfer, a member of both Student Council and National Honors Society, and is the 2024-25 Yearbook Editor.

Brady’s dream tropical vacation would be going to the island of Rhodes in Greece to visit the beaches, landscapes and historical sites. Brady’s favorite tropical fruit is coconut and at Tropical Smoothie Café he would order an island punch smoothie with a chicken pesto flatbread.

After high school graduation, Brady plans to attend Central Michigan University.

Senior Representative Easton Williams

Easton Williams

Easton Williams is a senior from Barryton. He is a member of the Warrior Boys Golf Team, President of the Student Council, Senior Class President, and Parliamentarian for the National Honor Society.

If Easton could go on a tropical vacation anywhere, he would to Bora Bora for the over-water bungalows and super clear water. Easton loves the Bahama Mama smoothies from Tropical Smoothie Café and his favorite tropical fruit is pineapple.

After high school, Easton hopes to attend the University of Michigan to major in political science on a pre-law track.
