Our very own Mr. Hepinstall received the Teacher of the Year Award from the State of Michigan! He has dedicated over 46 years to the education of Chippewa Hills students, and he is truly one of the most passionate educators you will ever meet! Thank you for all that you do, Mr. Hepinstall! You are appreciated!

Today is our Spring Orchestra Concert! Join us at 7 PM in the High School Auditorium for our end-of-year performance and senior awards!

Our Warrior Wellness Center is seeking volunteers to serve on its Community Advisory Council! The Community Advisory Council is made up of parents, school staff, healthcare professionals, social workers, and more! This group oversees the vision and goals of our school wellness program. Council members are only required to attend a minimum of 2 meetings per year. If you’re interested in joining the Community Advisory Council, please attend the next Council meeting on Wednesday, May 29 at 3:15 in the High School Media Center. If you’re unable to attend the meeting in person, please email qgriffin@dhd10.org for a link to attend the meeting virtually.

Day 4 of Teacher Appreciation Week! Our teachers got some pizza for lunch and treat bags were delivered to them by our Student Council and Honor Society members!

Save the date for our Spring Orchestra Concert next week! Both our High School and Middle School Orchestras will be performing at 7 PM on Thursday, May 16 in the High School Auditorium. Please join us for this special performance as we say goodbye to our 2024 graduates!

Day 3 of Teacher Appreciation Week! Teachers received a small pie to show our a-pie-citation! Student Council and Honor Society students also took orders and delivered yummy drinks from Corner Cup! Thank you to Corner Cup for delivering!!

The Chippewa Hills School District Board of Education is beginning the process of hiring a new superintendent. The board is soliciting community and staff input on the qualities, experiences, and skills needed in the new superintendent. Residents of the District, all staff and administration are encouraged to participate in the process. The board is being assisted in its search by the Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB), a service organization that supports the work of school boards throughout Michigan. Mark Palmer is facilitating the search on behalf of MASB. Mark will be holding meetings in the District to give the community and staff an opportunity for input. Parents and community members are invited to share their perspectives at a meeting on Tuesday, May 14 at 6:00 PM in the High School Media Center. Day 2 of Teacher Appreciation Week! We Cereal-sly appreciate our teachers at CHMS! Student Council and Honor Society members also passed out some snacks and drinks this afternoon!

Today was the start of Teacher Appreciation Week! At CHMS, we appreciate our teachers very much! To show some of our appreciation, the Middle School Honor Society and Student Council organized, stocked, and decorated the teacher's lounge! They did an AWESOME job! Mrs. Muscott and Mrs. Trecy also surprised them with some yummy donuts!
