To Our Mecosta Family,

Thank you for taking the time to visit our school's website. My name is Kyle Talicska, I am the Principal at Mecosta Elementary and I love being a part of the Chippewa Hills family.

Mecosta Elementary houses preschool through fourth grade and serves approximately 270 students. The school day is from 7:45am to 3:15pm. Doors open at 7:37am for students to enter the building.

Peggy Borders is Mecosta's secretary. She can answer most questions anyone might have. The entire staff at Mecosta Elementary is hard-working and dedicated to making a difference in your child's life. If you need to contact any staff members, their information is listed above under the staff links page.

We encourage parent involvement in both the classroom and after-school events. Please know that you are a vital part of your child's education.

We also offer before and after school latchkey care for $5 a day per child. The latchkey is open 7:00-7:45am and 3:15-6:00pm. For further information on our latchkey program, please contact the office.
